To Dr. Moberly and his staff, "Personalized Dentistry" means
dentistry designed and delivered in an individualized manner
and customized to each individual patient. Treatment plans are designed
to meet the patients needs and wands and to help keep their mouth
healthy and comfortable for a lifetime.
Each patient presents with a unique situation. It is important for us to treat each patient as a unique individual and develop a plan to enhance their health in an appropriate manner for them at that point in their life. This is the essence of “personalized dentistry”.
A broken tooth or sore jaw can be a symptom of a larger problem. While it can be easy to fix a broken tooth I believe it is better in the long term to find out the reason the tooth broke and fix the underlying problem. This involves not just looking at the structure of the teeth but how the teeth, muscles and joints work together in function and parafunction (grinding).
Our goal is to do as little dentistry as possible to help our patients keep their teeth for a lifetime of function and health with the smile they desire and dream of.
Dr. Moberly graduated from Wake Forest University with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry. Following graduation from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine he did a residency in Hospital Dentistry at the University of Washington. He has studied extensively in comprehensive and reconstructive dentistry as well as esthetic dentistry and TMJ problems. With over 28 years of experience he is currently on the Visiting Faculty at The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, and is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Washington. He has been active in teaching other dentist and currently works with several study clubs.
No dental office can provide superb care without a committed staff. We are proud that we have an experienced long term staff. Patients have come to expect to see the same faces each time they visit the office. This long term commitment, along with truly caring personalities allows us to know our patients on more than a superficial level and personalize their care to their individual situation. With over 70 years of combined experience working together we can truly say we work as a team for the long term health of our patients.
