Biographical Information:
Dr.
Spreen provides comprehensive restorative care, primarily for adults
and teenagers. Perhaps most importantly, he feels that the best dental
health occurs in a personal relationship that encourages collaboration
between you and your dental team, one that creates understanding and
trust. His goal for each patient is a lifetime of excellent dental
health, and a natural, beautiful smile, using conservative treatment
that preserves and enhances your natural health.
Dr. Spreen graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1976, and established his practice in Bellevue, Washington that same year. He
began his involvement with the Pankey Institute in 1982, and was
appointed to the Visiting Faculty in 1993. He has served on Curriculum
committees, and was named a member of the Lead Faculty in 2002. He’s
a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State
Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society.
Happily
married to Jeanne, a retired registered oncology nurse who is now the
office’s Treatment Care Coordinator, they both enjoy cooking, travel,
their children (and grandchildren) and the outdoors. Hiking and
kayaking are outdoor passions, and Jeanne is trackside, supporting Dr.
Spreen’s participation as a driver in sports car road racing.
One
of Dr. Spreen’s greatest professional satisfactions comes from the long
relationships he has with both his patient family, and his long-term
staff. Familiar faces, who know you, are a hallmark of his practice,
one that caused a patient to characterize the office as feeling “like
family.” This atmosphere, coupled with career-long commitments to
providing the latest in treatment techniques, to personalized care, and
to education, has allowed Dr. Spreen to help many patients achieve and
maintain optimal dental health.
