Biographical Information:
Kurt D. Mackie DDS is a 1983 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service where he served as dental director for three years at Su Clinica Familiar in Harlingen, Texas. He has developed a family private practice with an emphasis on complex reconstructive Dentistry. This practice is a true relationship-based practice where he spends time understanding the concern of his patients as they relate to their optimum treatment. The growth of this practice over the last 25 years has allowed Dr. Mackie to develop a partnership with long time patient now Dentist, Dr. Bonnie Villarreal. Doctors’ Mackie and Villarreal have hundreds of hours of advanced continuing education in addition to his position as a visiting faculty member of the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida. They have advanced the "team approach" to Dentistry by bringing together specialists in Oral Surgery and Orthodontics in his office to provide cohesiveness in treatment options based on the patient's desires and understandings.
Dr. Mackie has been married for twenty-seven years to his lovely wife Jean.  They have four children, the oldest being Jonathan, David, Stephen and their youngest being Mary Elizabeth.
