Biographical Information:
Dr. Gustafson graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
He attended Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He has been in private practice in Austin for over thirty years. Continuing education has always been very important to Dr Gustafson. He earned his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and completed advanced education at the prestigious L.D.Pankey Institute. Pankey training is recognized in the dental profession as a pre-eminent, highly technical master curriculum for diagnosis and proper alignment of the teeth and skeletal structures of the jaw. He is a charter member and former president of the Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry. He served several years on the Board of Directors for The Texas Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Gustafson is also a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Capitol Area Dental Society. He has been married for over thirty years to his wife, Bonnie (Foster), who was raised in Dallas. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends, the outdoors, reading, sports, traveling, and cooking.
