Biographical Information:
Dr. Crandall attended Upper St. Clair High School and currently lives in
Upper St Clair with his wife Patty and children Jennie and Curtis. He
completed his BS degree in Pre-Medicine at Pennsylvania State
University, where he was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical
Honorary Society. He then received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at
the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He opened his
first practice in Cranberry Township in 1984. His second location was
opened in Upper St. Clair in 1985. He studied under Dr. Jack Hahn for
training in the placement of dental implants in 1990. He completed the
course work of Dr. Frank Spears of the Seattle Institute for training in
cosmetics and complex restorative dentistry. In 1995-1999 he attended
the Pankey Institute in Florida, where he learned in detail about how
the bite can function in harmony with the joints and muscles to help
those suffering with TMJ problems. He has completed additional course
work on complex restorative dentistry. As of 2001 he practices only at
the Upper St. Clair location. He is continually pursuing additional
education and considers himself to be a life long student in the pursuit
of excellence
