Biographical Information:
Together with his exceptional staff, Dr. Beshar has been perfecting a collaborative approach to lifelong dental health and beauty for over 25 years. Their commitment is for clients to experience health by empowering them to make the well-informed decisions that work best for them. His unique process assists clients to clarify their needs, desires, and concerns by engaging them in an in-depth interview, a full dental examination, and education. Before treatment the benefits and risks of all appropriate options (including non-treatment) are presented, including all fees, and patients are seen on-time.
Dr. Beshar is committed to continued education in all aspects of life and practice. He became an Instructor at the Pankey Institute in 1995, and serves as a Mentor at The Kois Center in Seattle. “Being an educator really raised the bar. It was the single most motivating factor in my life,” recalls Dr B., “because I felt responsible for another dentist’s outcome.” He meets annually with over 400 dentists to review the latest science in order to bring the most effective technology, materials, and techniques to his clients.
Dr. Beshar is a member of the ADA, and has been published or featured in Inc Magazine, Working Woman, The New York Times, Newsweek, Dental Excellence, and other periodicals. He serves on the Board of Directors of Hudson Guild, a settlement house serving the low income population in Chelsea, where he and the staff respond to children’s dental needs at no charge.
Clients experience specialist-level care including sedation, implant placement, and cosmetic procedures, while also enjoying the stability and comfort of ‘the family dentist.’ In the words of one client, “This relationship has completely changed my perception of a visit to the dentist. Dr. B and his staff are the most professional, most caring, and downright most fun people to have put on a dental smock. I cherish the day I first walked in.”
