Dr Cournot is passionate about clinical dentistry as she helps patients achieve a lifetime of oral health excellence.

 

Dr. Cournot founded the practice over 30 years ago. She created a  distinctly different center focused entirely on her patients. She and her highly caring team of professionals are committed to help you improve the health of your teeth and gums, perfect your smile and tailor a preventive program customized for you. Her goal is to understand your needs and to help you get and stay healthy.

 

Located just steps from the hustle and bustle of Grand Central Station, the practice is a haven of tranquility for the weary dental patient who wants world class dentistry that will feel great, look stunningly natural and last a lifetime.

 

Dr. Cournot graduated from Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut with a BS in Chemistry. She received her DDS from Columbia School of Dental Medicine in 1978.

 

She is a member of some of the most prestigious dental organizations:  the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York Academy of Dentistry and the American College of Dentists.

 

She selects and trains our dentists of tomorrow. She is a member of the Committee of Admissions of Columbia School of Dental Medicine, a facilitator and lecturer for the department of ethics and a Clinical Associate Instructor in the dept. of Operative Dentistry.  

 

As her commitment to professional development, she attends hands-on post-graduate dental programs annually, and has studied at the Pankey Institute, the Dawson Institute, the Pride Institute, and is a graduate of the Kois Center.

 

She has lived in NoHo since 1979 with her husband Pierre.  Her interests include cycling, cooking and photography.
