Born in Bismarck, Dr. Johnson graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and then completed his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

He has found the Continuum courses at the Pankey Institute to be extremely helpful in advancing his clinical skills. In addition, Dr. Johnson has completed a 100 hour postgraduate program in aesthetic dentistry at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Johnson attributes his decision to become a dentist to a hit-and-run accident that caused him to lose his front teeth. The many hours of dental work needed to re-create those front teeth made him realize that he wanted to ease peoples' suffering and help them keep their smiles. He is pleased to be back in his hometown and is now a fourth generation business owner in Bismarck.
