Biographical Information:
Meridian native Dan Singley, Jr. attended the University of Mississippi prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army. He achieved the rank of Captain and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Purple Heart and twelve awards of the Air Medal. Afterwards, he resumed his education at the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated with honors with a major in biology. He returned to the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1981. He established a private practice in Meridian were he continues to advance his skill level through ongoing completion of advance courses. In addition to his studies at the Pankey Institute, Dr. Singley has also completed extensive studies at the Center for Professional Development in Arizona as well as the Cosmetic Continuum at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Singley has a long history of community involvement. He has served as President of the Mississippi Dental Association, the Third District of the Mississippi Dental Association, and the Meridian Area Dental Society in addition to holding other offices. He is a Fellow of the prominent American College of Dentists, in which membership is exclusively by invitation. Dr. Singley is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy Dental Practice Administration, Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics and American Dental Association, where he currently serves as a delegate to the House of Delegates.
