Biographical Information:
Dr. Fankhauser received his DDS degree from the University of Missouri School of Dentistry. He has practiced in Springfield. Mo. since 1970. During that time he has been a continuous student of the art and science of dentistry. The continuum offered at the Pankey Institute has been the cornerstone of his practice development. Through the adoption of the Pankey Philosophy he and his accomplished staff will listen carefully to the patient's concerns, acquire excellent diagnostic data, and develop a comprehensive treatment plan which can be implemented over time to help the patient enjoy an attractive and healthy dentition for a lifetime. Dr. Fankhauser is very proud of his staff. Many have been with the practice for several years. They all understand the concept of "5-star" service. The office is equipped with the latest in technology and interactive patient education formats. A full range of dental services are provided, including computer generated single visit porcelain restorations. Dr. Fankhauser's wife, Leslie, is a kindergarten teacher in Springfield Public Schools. Their son, Ben, is a student at the UMKC School of Dentistry, and hopes to join the practice one day. Dr. Fankhauser enjoys active membership in the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Springfield Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the L.D. Pankey Alumni Associotion. He provides care for those in need through Donated Dental Services of Missouri, and the national "Give Kids a Smile Day".
