Biographical Information:
 Dr. Michael Kratz is a lifelong Minnesota resident who graduated from the Universty of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1995 and completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis the following year.  He has practiced dentistry in Edina, MN since 1997.  In addition to pursuing postgraduate study at The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, he has participated in numerous professional study groups.  Dr. Kratz welcomes patients of all ages and specializes in comprehensive care to maximize oral health and the natural beauty of each individual's smile.  The mission statement of Dr. Kratz and his office team is to "provide exceptional personalized service to help our patients achieve a lifetime of optimal oral health".  Dr. Kratz has expertise in the areas of occlusion, smile makeovers, and implants.  He is experienced in diagnosing and treating occlusal (bite) problems which contribute to jaw joint and muscle pain, excessive tooth wear and fractures, tooth mobility, and headaches.  He is experienced in the restoration of worn, broken and missing teeth and in whole-mouth restorations that involve complex treatment.  He has had extensive training in esthetic dentistry.  The care and concern he has for each and every patient extends to the specialists he has chosen to work with.  They, like Dr. Kratz, take time to know the patient, inform the patient fully, and discuss patient concerns.  Dr. Kratz and his staff welcome you to their office at 50th and France.  You will experience both warm hospitality and fine dentistry that involves developing a plan with you for preventive oral health and for restoring and maintaining beautiful teeth for a lifetime.  Rather than just treating problems that arise, one tooth at a time Dr. Kratz takes a comprehensive approach, encouraging patients to be proactive in finding long-term solutions that promote optimal oral health.  Now, that's something to smile about!
