Biographical Information:
Dr. Smulsky went to the University of Detroit for his undergraduate courses and than went on to the University of Detroit Dental School where he graduated in 1967. He was an associate for 2 years before he opened his own private practice in Plymouth-Canton, Michigan in 1969.
In the middle 70's Dr. Smulsky joined the faculty at the University of Detroit Dental School to teach part-time in the Crown and Bridge Department for 3 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, th Detroit District Dental Association, the Livingston County Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the Francis B. Veeder Crown and Bridge Society, and an alumnus of the Pankey Institute.
Dr. Smulsky uses an individualized approach to every patient for their cosmetic needs. He consults with highly regarded dental specialists when necessary. Each person's restorative and cosmetic needs are different and he designs a treatment plan that is unique for each patient, from simple composite restorations to the more complex implant restorations. Dr. Smulsky has taken many advanced continuing education courses in dental implants and has been doing them since 1989.
Dr. Smulsky and his wife, Debi are avid golfers, downhill skiers, and scuba divers. They also love to travel and explore other countries. They have three children and four grandchildren and are very active in their community.
