David P. Solomon, DMD, MAGD graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1979.  Dr. Solomon then completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Sepulveda, California.  Over the past 30 years, Dr. Solomon has attended and participated in continuing education courses and training. In 1991, Dr. Solomon received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, which required 500 hours of continuing dental education. Dr. Solomon has also graduated from six levels of continuums held at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Training. In 2005 Dr. Solomon completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s Maxi-Course in Oral Implantology held at New York University, requiring 300 hours over a ten-month period of lecture and hands on training. In 2009 Dr. Solomon was awarded an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.  Also in 2009, Dr. Solomon was awarded the prestigious Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.  The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the Academy of General Dentistry and one of the most respected designations in the profession. Dr. Solomon completed 1100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to the hands-on skills and techniques. This award honors Dr. Solomon for his long-term commitment to go above and beyond continuing education requirements to provide his patients with the most up-to-date treatment options and superior patient care.  Additionally, Dr. Solomon teaches operative dentistry one day a week at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
