Biographical Information:

Dr. Epstein graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1973 and completed the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education Continuum. He attends approximately 75 hours of continuing dental education each year in addition to his dental study club that has been meeting for over twenty years! Dr. Epstein’s staff participates in continuing education programs, including yearly CPR certification.

Dr. Epstein frequently lectures on current dental techniques to dentists, hygienists and dental students. He is a member of the Visiting Faculty at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, a guest lecturer in the Prosthetic Department of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Department of Continuing Education and mentors dentists in two dental study clubs. He participates in well-respected dental organizations and serves on the Sports Medical Committee of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.

 

Dr. Epstein was recently honored by Neurofibromatosis, Inc., New England when the non-profit organization established the Dr. Paul Epstein NF Research Grant. The $100,000 grant will be awarded to scientists who are conducting peer-reviewed research to find a cure and treatment for Neurofibromatosis. The honor was bestowed in recognition of his twenty-years as Volunteer Chairman of the Annual NF Golf Tournament.
