Dr. Kathy French has practiced dentistry for the over twenty-five years.  She has a BA from the University of Michigan, where she also received her DDS from the University’s Dental School.  Dr. French continued her post-graduate education and the world renowned Pankey Institute.    She completed over five times the required number of the prestigious Pankey Institute courses, concentrating on restorative and cosmetic dentistry.  Dr. French received a rare honor when she was invited to become a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute.   She enjoys giving back to the organization that helped define and distinguish her career.  She is also active within the dental community as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Chicago Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. 

Dr. French has recently been given the “Leading Physician’s of the World” award in acknowledgment of her commitment to staying current with the latest advances in dentistry as well as the medical well being of each and every one of her patients.   She has completed several courses through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and successfully treats patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.  Currently, Dr. French is lecturing throughout the area regarding the early diagnosis and treatments of these sleep disorders and as is affiliated with several sleep centers in the northwest Chicago suburbs.
