Biographical Information:
My father always stressed, “If you are going to do something, do your best”. As time went on, growing up in the Clearwater, Florida area, going to college at FSU, and Dental School at the University of Florida, I began to understand my father’s wisdom. In my 20+ years of private practice in our quality-oriented, restorative dental practice, I can’t imagine a more powerful directive—to do one’s best.

Since 1983, we have strived to help our patients reach an optimal level of health—creating a stable, predictable, long-term, and maintainable environment. Each patient comes with specific desires and needs, but all are deserving of optimal care.

To maintain the levels of excellence required to provide this care, post-graduate continuing education has been invaluable. Early in my career, I was fortunate enough to become immersed in the teachings of Drs. Pete Dawson, L. D. Pankey, Parker Mahan, and to be a part of the Pride Institute Management process. These experiences became a solid platform on which to add further teachings, and thus build a solid practice. Surrounded by a talented cadre of specialists and a world-class ceramist, I feel especially blessed to be able to do my best for my patients.

Doing our best for our patients requires that only the best staff and laboratories will do. Our team is excited about what they are doing; are very good at their respective areas of expertise, and possess high standards of quality and integrity. We delight in taking very good care of our patients. These lofty standards are maintained through intentional continuous professional and personal growth.

Our practice is located conveniently to serve patients in the Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties; yet, set apart from the hustle of US 19, tucked quietly among the oak trees of Countryside. Inside our facility, our goal is to provide a personalized, comfortable atmosphere of empathy and mutual trust.

Outside our practice, I am blessed to be surrounded by a wonderful family. My wife, Marsha, and our 3 sons enjoy many outdoor adventures like backpacking, skiing, and camping. We are also fortunate to be immersed in an extended family at our church, Heritage United Methodist, and in our Scout Troop where I am Scoutmaster.

Whether inside the office or outside, when it comes to working with people, there is no such thing as doing something to “just get by”. We are called to do our best. People deserve our best, especially when we are charged with their care.
