Dr. Beverly A. Kodama graduated with honors from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry in 1981.  She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental society her senior year.  In addition she was awarded the UCSF Operative Dentistry Award, The Guy S. Millberry Award for Scholastic Achievement, the International College of Dentists Outstanding Achievement Award and the Psi Omega dental fraternity Scholastic Achievement Award.  She completed her Hospital and Genteral Practice Residency Certification at UCSF in 1982.

Dr. Kodama credits her long term core staff who have been with her for over twenty years for the positive influence they have been able to make in their patient's lives.  Together they have a mission  to create a safe environment that promotes health and well being.

Dr. Kodama is an alumnus of the Pankey Institute and is presently serving a three year commitment on the Board of Directors.  She also serves as a mentor to a number of new students of the Institute.  Additionally, she actively seeks continuing education courses to further her education in the ever changing world of dentistry.  She serves on the Midwinter Convention Committee at the Sacramento District Dental Society to bring educators and lecturers to the Sacramento region. 

Serving actively in the dental community is  very important to Dr. Kodama.  She serves on multiple committees and is Vice President of the Sacramento Women's Study group andvolunteers in the capacity of a mentor to new female dentists.  Dr. Kodama also serves as an Expert Witness for the California State Board of Dental Examiners and is a Regional Quality Review Consultant for Delta Dental of California.  She also lectures on Malpractice Prevention for The Dentists Insurance  Company.  In the past several years Dr. Kodama has been honored as a Fellow into the International College of Dentists and The American College of Dentists.

In the spirit of giving something back,she and her assistant Bobbie and husband Will are  members of the Flying Samaritans.  Dr. Kodama and Will also enjoy the outdoors, travelling, rescuing feral cats and creating wonderful memories with their family and friends.
