Dr. Ikemiya has been in practice for 16 years, graduating from Northwestern University in 1990.  He has practiced in Reedley, California since graduating, but has recently joined the Monterey Peninsula Dental Group in Monterey, California.  Fulfilling a lifetime dream of living and working on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, Dr. Ikemiya is excited about transitioning to the central coast and becoming an active member of the community there.

Dr. Ikemiya is very proud of his affiliation with the Pankey Institute.  The knowledge and philosophy of care he has adopted as a student at the Pankey Institute has been a benefit to his patients, team members, and himself.  He is currently serving as a member of the Institute's Board of Directors, and is also a member of the Alumni Association and Triple Plus Club.  He has been a founding member of two Pankey affiliated learning groups, and is looking forward to developing a similar advanced study group in Monterey.

The emphasis of Dr. Ikemiya's practice is comprehensive dental care.  This is defined as a style of dentistry that takes into consideration a person's individual needs combined with their present dental condition to provide an outcome that is functional, esthetic, and comfortable.

Dr. Ikemiya and his wife Sonia are the proud parents of Shannon (2), and are looking forward to an addition to their family in October of 2006.  Dr. Ikemiya's personal interests include golf, wine collecting, and photography; however his favorite pastime is enjoying the natural beauty of the Monterey area with his family.
