We
Remember Dr. Parker Eugene Mahan
Parker
was awarded 13 academic honors, 15 professional offices and
honors, 7 consultantships, 9 professional
society memberships,
positions on 5 editorial boards, and published 11 texts. He was also referenced
in 49 separate publications. Parker was on the faculty of the Pankey Institute,
and
embodied its motto of "To Whom Much is Given, Much is Expected."
He is
survived by his wife Lorraine, three daughters, nine
Grandchildren,
and three great-grandchildren
He
touched many lives with his love, compassion and brilliant mind, and
his presence will be dearly missed by all. Dr. Becker and a number of
our visiting
faculty have written tributes to Dr. Mahan, which can be read and added to on
